EPOXY SYSTEM CTM
High performance laminating epoxy system

CTM is a high performance epoxy laminating system formulated for applications requiring high thermomechanicalproperties under aerospace specifications. The system is suitable for hand layup, pre-wetted layup and injection moulding, with post cure at 40degC to 80degC or even anmbient temperature (not all hardeners). This laminating system is used for the manufacture of aerospace and military parts, racing car bodies and racing boats. There is a fire retardent version CTM-FAR that is approved for use under FAR 25853 rules.

Making This A Very Safe Choice

This Product Features:

  • Very high mechanical properties
  • High adhesion to reinforcing fabrics
  • High fatigue and microcracking resistance
  • Very Low toxicity (no DDM)
  • Adjustable working time (up to 12 hours)
  • Very good temperature resistance

Mixing MUST be as accurate as possible. The wrong mixing ratio will result in lower properties for the item once cured. We recommend the use of electronic scales, an automatic dispensing system or calibrated mixing cups. The mixture should be thoroughly stirred, with particular attention to the edges of the container. We advise using shallow trays and only mixing small amounts at any one time to avoid an exothermic reaction
